Humanitarian Fund

In 1996, the Humanitarian Fund was set up to provide an accountable and trustable system to both receive and distribute funds raised by the community. Since that time, the fund has distributed over $200,000 to area families. As a sub-account of the Barnesville Area Community Fund, the Humanitarian Fund is a way to help area residents in the wake of a personal or community tragedy including medical crises, a fire or a tragic death. Donations to the Humanitarian Fund are tax-deductible and accepted on an ongoing basis.
